LG 32lh30 premium HDTV
This is a very special LCD, first because it is not made anymore and second because it is the best 32 inch TV that money can buy. The LG 32lh30 is packed with a lot of features that you only see in larger and more expensive TVs, and that is what I love about it. I actually tested this TV a couple of months ago for a local electronics shop and I had the chance to really put it through its’ paces and see what kind of TV we are dealing with here. First of all I want to say that it is easy to set up and despite the fact that it is a pretty large screen, I was able to put up on my drawer (6,5 ft high) without any help. All the inputs at the back are top notch quality and perfectly take the signal from the source to the screen. I used it as a PC monitor, I used it for my PS3 and also as a normal TV (no HDTV provider in my country yet). I just want to say that compared to my old Sony Bravia 32 inch TV (I think the both were made about the same time) this LG 32lh30 had a better picture quality. Contrast was better (even if both manufacturers listed the same number), it had better dark shades and crisp colors. I love the fact that you can have a lot of inputs plugged in at the same time and use the remote to change between them without actually needing to change cables.
The LG 32h30 might not be a very large screen, but for the small room I tested it in it was more than enough. I mentioned that the placing of the TV was up high, much higher than eye level, so I practically looked at the image from below, but it was perfect even so. No problems at all with the angle. The screen in this TV is great. And did I mention that it is actually one of the few 32 inch HDTVs that provide with 1080p resolution? That is the selling point right there. The cheapest 1080p that money can buy. I recommend looking into this as soon as possible if you want a new one because it was taken out of production by LG in 2009.
Last but not least, I was truly impressed with the sound quality of this TV. Normally, I plug in my Toshiba 5.1 home cinema surround sound system, but with the 32lh30 LG TV I didn’t feel the need of more sound quality. It is obvious that the sound system would have provided with much better sound, but between the other LCD screens out there, I am pretty the LG 32lh30 provides with the best sound quality. I am certain that this is the best bang for the buck in terms of HDTVs that can handle the 1080p native resolution. I recommend this TV to anyone out there that wants to pay as little money as possible for a very high quality TV set.
