The battery fit in my DELL INSPIRON 1520 without any issues. It has a similar LED indicator on the battery that tells you the level it is at.
I get 3 odd hours roughly the same as I used to get with my original DELL battery (when I bought my laptop).
It was delivered on the day that I was supposed to receive it (Expected Delivery date).

Installed this battery on a Dell Inspiron 1521 Laptop.. Thus far it works great. Only trouble is that the battery is slighty bigger and there is a tiny lip at the back of the laptop. Had a little trouble getting it to seat also. but this is small compared to the price savings.. a dell oem would have cost more than twice the price.

This is a great product for the Inspiron - I was debating whether or not to purchase the Dell Battery but upon reading the description provided, I felt confident that this battery would work and, indeed, it worked very well. Of particular note, the service and price through Amazon is terrific!!
